about

Saafi Brothers walk a deep line between trippy hippy vibes with blissed out beats and cutting edge German, minimal dub and tech. The origins and legends of Saafi Brothers mythology are long and well documented, their brand of smoky, state of the art electronic ambient dub first emerged in the late 90's from the mythical pioneering Blue Room label. Gabriel Le Mar has earned the respect of the international dance community with all his productions and remixes and still commands dancefloors around the world with his unique talent.

“The Quality of Being One” is the 6th full-length album by Saafi Brothers and is going to be released by Liquid Sound Design Records in summer.

Beforehand the Remix EP “The Quality of Being One Remixes Part 1” featuring contributions from the LSD collaborators, offering 4 fresh remixes ahead of the soon coming full length release. These remixes hail from Liquid Sound Design artists Tripswitch, Youth, Cosmic Trigger and lastly from Saafi Brothers very own Gabriel Le Mar.

The original artful electronic tunes of Saafi Brothers are layered gently into tranced and bass heavy beats.

Tripswitch remix of "Dub No. 9“ is a deep and mystical sonic trip with his spine melting Alchemy of sounds that subtly morphs into an ambient dub anthem. Cosmic Trigger Remix of "Hippies in Trance" peels away the layers of the cosmic onion and strips it down to some Brixton bass culture of an imagined future in a parallel dimension bass, makes your boom box jump. Youth remixes "Out on a Ride" cascading arpeggios juxtaposing with unseen spectrums of different angles and tangents with an epic intense intro into an epic groove float. Gabriel Le Mar's "Catch Me If You Can" Re:Dub is locking it down on a dubwise, dance floor rockin one drop riddim, trippin' the decks with a laser dreadlocks style.

Please follow the electronic remix compositions and hear close what they feel!
